“Much more than a weaver’s paradise”
-Monica Mead, Waterbury Record
Welcome to Ann's "new" Weavery, a fiber arts gallery. We are located at
Camp Meade, Route 2, Middlesex, Vermont - home to The Red Hen Bakery & Café,
Nutty Steph's granola & chocolate and now Ann's Weavery. Nestled in the
Winooski River Valley, Middlesex is the ideal home for our studio and gallery.
We
opened our doors in April 2007 at the Waterbury location and as of February
2009, at our new Middlesex location. The shop is filled with handcrafted
wearables, accessories and gifts made by talented crafts people from Vermont,
New England and elsewhere. As you walk into the shop, you will be overwhelmed
by the array of beautiful and colorful fiber arts.
The Weavery is also a weaving studio where Ann Lovald practices her craft.
In this new expanded space, Ann can now give weaving lessons to 2 & 3 people
at a time on the Ashford rigid heddle looms. She continues to offer individual
instruction as well. Ann has been weaving since her college days, and the
shop is the culmination of her life long passion for fine fiber craftwork.
Stop by and say "hi" when you are in the area. We are open Tuesday through
Saturday, with plenty of free parking and a good cup of coffee next door.
